Ideal Home
Coconut would thrive in an active home that can give him plenty of playtime, while also enjoying quiet moments filled with cuddles and affection. He's great with children of all ages and would enjoy having another playful dog in the home, though it's not a requirement. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will be available to spend time with this puppy while you are away. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application.
Ongoing Health
Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for having them altered when age-appropriate. $100 of your adoption donation will be refunded after you show proof of future spay/neuter.
Training & Support
Like many puppies, Coconut is still learning to share some of his favorite toys and treats, so his new family will want to continue teaching him good manners as he grows.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Once you complete the initial screening, you will be connected for a video chat.
- Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved.
- If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
- We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. If you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply.
- If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Transporation
Coconut is currently located with our foster network and transport is available to approved adopters.
