Winkie is a lovely female Pit Bull Terrier mix with a calm, easygoing personality. She is happy to be by your side and is the perfect companion for someone looking for a steady, loving best friend. Winkie has overcome significant medical challenges, including a recent splenectomy, and has remained sweet, trusting, and incredibly resilient through it all. She walks beautifully on a leash, is house trained, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Winkie is currently heartworm positive and has already begun treatment. Her treatment is fully coordinated and paid for by Big Paws of the Ozarks, and she is available for adoption while she completes the process. She is spayed and vaccinated.
