Annika

Meet Annika! She is a playful, clever, and adorable 10-week-old puppy who has been growing and thriving at her foster home. She did great at her vet visit, where she had her exam, first shots, and preventatives. She's living with two ShepHeroes alumni and a resident cat. This little bundle is playful with the two resident shepherds, who adore puppies, and respectful of the senior cat; she's likely cat workable. So far, she has learned to use the dog door at her foster home by following the resident shepherds. She has also been sleeping through the night (10 pm to 5 am). Crate and potty training are age-appropriate. Annika is brave and a quick learner. She's mastered sit, no, leave it, crate command to go in her crate, and developed a love of carrots and bananas. We look forward to guiding her over the next few weeks until she meets her forever family. She's currently focusing on leash manners in between snuggles and lots of play. We adore this plush-coated puppy, who will likely grow into a long-coated shepherd.

Ideal Home

We are looking for homes with experience with German Shepherds that can provide the time and resources needed for training, positive experiences, and the structure our puppies need to thrive and become well-balanced companions.
