Meet Juice, a handsome 4-year-old, 56 lb Black Mouth Cur mix with eyes that speak volumes and a heart yearning for a safe haven. Known to his foster family as Joey, this sweet boy is ready to trade his past for a future filled with love and stability. Juice is a cuddlebug who cherishes his toys, but his greatest joy comes from quietly coexisting with his favorite person, showing his affection with a gentle headrest or a paw resting on your arm. He can be a bit reserved around new faces, but with slow, kind introductions, he blossoms into a deeply loyal and devoted companion.
Ideal Home
Juice would thrive in a calm, quiet home with soft-spoken, patient adults who understand that healing takes time. He needs a home that is completely cat-free, as he has a strong prey drive and will chase them. Juice would also be happiest as the sole furry resident, where he can have all the attention and space he needs.
Ongoing Health
Juice has shown some food aggression with other dogs, and he may still guard high-value treats. These behaviors are managed by feeding him separately in his crate and respecting his boundaries.
Training & Support
Juice is still working on his leash manners, as he tends to pull when excited. Harsh corrections can make him fearful, so he responds best to patience and kindness. He is crated when left alone due to his chewing habits, and while he sleeps well in his crate, he has had some past potty accidents. He does great in the car but may need a little help getting in.

Transporation
Juice is currently located with his foster family. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
