Skar

Skar is a handsome and spirited Ibizan Hound/Queensland Heeler mix who is about 2.5 years old. He was rescued from a tough situation on July 11, 2024, and despite a large scar on his side, he has left his past behind and is full of joy. Skar is a high-energy, playful, and affectionate boy who loves people. While he can be a little shy initially, his confidence blossoms every day. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is always happy to make new friends. Skar enjoys jumping up for hugs, and while we're working on curbing this enthusiasm, it's hard not to love his sweet gestures. He's a truly beautiful dog inside and out, ready to form a deep bond and bring immense joy to his forever family.

Ideal Home

Skar would thrive in an active household with someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise and structure. A loving and committed home is a must, and another playful dog would be a wonderful addition to his life.

Skar is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Skar loves to jump up to give hugs, and while this is being worked on, a home that can continue this training with positive reinforcement will help him learn gentler greetings.
