Sassy is a confident, playful, and curious young lady who was raised with her nine siblings. She's never known anything but love and companionship, growing up in a safe and adventurous environment. Sassy is a natural "lady boss" and is always ready for what's next! Being part hound, she loves to explore and sniff, making her a perfect match for an active family or outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys camping, hiking, yard games, and being your shadow on any adventure. Sassy already knows commands like "kennel," "off," and "lights out for night night." She loves water and being close to her people, with a sweet face that will melt your heart. She has adapted beautifully to routines, crate time, and pottying outdoors. Sassy is a puppy with a wonderful foundation of confidence, affection, and a genuine love for people. She's ready to find her very own person or family to love forever.
Ideal Home
Sassy would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run, play, and explore. While she doesn't necessarily need another dog, she has always had siblings and would likely enjoy a canine companion. Due to her love for running and exploring, secure fencing and caution with doors and gates are important to prevent her from becoming a flight risk. An apartment is not recommended for Sassy.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned, but Sassy is a puppy with a lot to learn.
Training & Support
Sassy is still very much a puppy and has a lot to learn, but she has a great foundation. She has shown mild food protectiveness with littermates at times, so meals are best fed separately for safety and structure. She has limited experience with leash walking but is doing well so far. Continued leash training and confidence-building will be beneficial. She is a typical puppy and may exhibit destructive behavior if bored, so she will thrive with appropriate chew toys, enrichment, and activity.
