Skittles is a fun-loving, energetic girl whose personality really starts to shine once she gets out and about. Staff and volunteers consistently described her as easy to leash, enjoyable to walk, and increasingly affectionate as she spent more time with people. She seems especially happy when she has a tennis ball proudly carried around in her mouth, soaking up cuddles and attention while showing off her favorite treasure. Whether she is exploring trails, strolling through the city, or riding calmly in the car, Skittles appears ready to throw herself fully into whatever adventure comes next.

Skittles is looking for an active adopter who can continue helping her channel her enthusiasm in positive ways while also setting her up for success with thoughtful introductions and management around other animals. Beneath all that energy is a social, affectionate dog who clearly enjoys human companionship and settles nicely once she has had the opportunity to decompress and burn off some excitement. Skittles feels like the kind of dog who will make every outing more entertaining, every tennis ball more important, and every day a little more lively for the person lucky enough to bring her home.

All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
