Ferguson

Meet Ferguson! This absolutely adorable 4-year-old French Bulldog came to us from another rescue. Ferguson arrived unable to walk, with no use of his back legs. After a visit to our vet, we discovered he has intervertebral disc disease, which caused weakness and pain in his hindquarters. Fortunately, he doesn't require surgery! Ferguson has recently achieved a HUGE milestone: he can now STAND and is WALKING! He's still building strength daily, and we're so proud of his progress. Despite his challenges, Ferguson is one of the sweetest and most loving boys you'll ever meet. He's a friendly and playful pup who gets along well with other dogs and is always happy to see you. This goofy guy still has some recovery ahead, but with his fighting spirit and unending love, Ferguson is sure to thrive!

Ideal Home

Ferguson is a playful and loving pup who enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ferguson has intervertebral disc disease affecting his back legs. He has made incredible progress and is now walking, but he is still gaining strength daily. He does not require surgery.

Training & Support

Ferguson is still working on his mobility and building strength. Continued encouragement and patience will help him reach his full potential.

Transportation

Ferguson is located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
