About Teddy

Teddy is a charming 3.5-year-old, 10lb bundle of joy, a delightful mix of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Bichon, and three other breeds. He was rescued as a matted mess and, after a much-needed shave, his beautiful coat has grown back, making him a truly handsome fellow. Teddy underwent successful cataract surgery on both eyes and now enjoys excellent vision, though he will require regular grooming to maintain his handsome looks. He absolutely adores being a lap dog and will happily snuggle up with his favorite person. While he generally gets along with other dogs, he prefers calm companions and can become protective of his food, so he would do best as an only dog or with a quiet, older canine friend. Teddy is mostly house-trained, walks well on a leash, and loves car rides – he's sure to be a wonderful companion!

Ideal Home

Teddy would thrive in a home as an only dog or with an older, quieter companion dog. He is not suited for homes with children under 8 years old and requires experienced dog owners.

Ongoing Health

Teddy has had successful cataract surgery on both eyes and is now seeing well. He will require regular grooming.

Training & Support

Teddy is mostly house-trained and walks well on a leash. He can be snappy if other dogs try to eat his food, and may not get along with very active dogs who get in his face. He needs a patient owner who understands his preferences.
