Elena is a dream girl! She is likely a Black Mouth Cur mix with sugar, spice, and everything nice. She is extremely loyal and loves getting cuddles from her people. She likes to nudge your arm for attention and absolutely loves squeaky toys. She will also stare at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, begging for a scratch or a kiss.

Ideal Home

Elena would do best in an experienced dog home or as an only dog. While she gets along well with other animals, she can become territorial in new environments. She loves children and does well with even the littlest ones hugging her. Her favorite hobby is watching squirrels in the backyard for hours if allowed.

Training & Support

Elena is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows "sit" and "wait" commands. She waits to eat her food until she is told to "go ahead." She can be with other dogs as long as you are clearly the boss.
