Tigger

Meet Tigger! Tigger is a sweet, approximately 2-year-old, 67 lb mutt with a heart full of love to give. He was found as a stray outside of an elementary school, where he quickly became a favorite, returning daily for pets and affection from the children. His foster family describes him as a very loyal dog who would love a kid to play with, throw toys, and be his best friend. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown he can coexist with dog-savvy cats. Tigger is a joy to be around; he wiggles with excitement, especially when treats are involved, and has a special talent for melting hearts with sweet kisses. He's a strong boy on walks and responds well to gentle guidance.

Ideal Home

Tigger would thrive in a home with children 5 and older, and could also do well with other dogs and possibly dog-savvy cats. He truly cherishes companionship and playtime.

Ongoing Health

Tigger is currently healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Tigger is working hard on his house training, crate training, and leash walking in his foster home. He may be prone to eating toys when excited, so supervision with toys is recommended. With consistent positive reinforcement, he will surely continue to blossom.
