Lyra Star is a 2‐year‐old French Bulldog weighing about 23.3 pounds. She was surrendered because she was too nervous for her previous home, and we later took her in from a local animal control. Despite her shy, submissive nature, Lyra has been very well behaved with our staff and has shown a gentle, sweet personality.

Our veterinary team noted no concerns other than her being slightly overweight, and she has been cleared as healthy and ready for adoption. Her previous home reported that she seemed more comfortable around children, though we have not personally observed her with kids here. Lyra is very clean in her kennel and seems to prefer going outside by herself, and she doesn't like to spend too much time outdoors in general. Her adoption fee is $450.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
