Meet Cookie! She's a gorgeous 6-year-old brindle Pit Bull mix, weighing around 50 pounds, and as sweet as her name suggests. With her beautiful brindle coat and gentle personality, she's sure to steal your heart. One thing you'll learn about Cookie right away is that she absolutely loves toys! Whether it's carrying one around, squeaking it, or settling in with her favorite, toys are one of her greatest joys. She also does well with other dogs, making her a great candidate for a home with a canine companion. Cookie has so much love to give and is simply looking for someone willing to help her through this temporary chapter. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who will happily fill your home with love—and probably a few toy squeaks, too.

Ideal Home

Cookie would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can rest and recover from her heartworm treatment.

Ongoing Health

Cookie is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. The shelter will cover the cost of her heartworm treatment. During her recovery, her activity needs to be limited.

Training & Support

Because most of our dogs come to us as strays, we cannot guarantee that they are house-trained.
