Ideal Home
Tamera Honey would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, a little adventure, and a whole lot of affection. She would love a backyard where she can stretch her legs and hang out alongside you. Apartment living will not be a good fit for her. She has been great with children as young as 7, showing gentleness, patience, and a natural understanding of their space.

Tamera Honey is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 12 years old, weighing 58 lbs. As with any rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Tamera Honey is a treat-motivated, eager-to-please girl who already knows many tricks including sit, down, shake, spin, roll over, and speak! She walks fairly nicely on a leash, may pull occasionally out of excitement, but responds well to gentle reminders. She is also crate trained and potty trained. With consistency and treats, further training will be a fun and rewarding experience. Tamera prefers slightly slower introductions to other dogs before playtime. She would do best with a moderately playful dog who enjoys both playtime and downtime, but she is also happy to be a solo dog. She has shown great respect around cats, not chasing and not being bothered by typical cat behavior.

Tamera Honey is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
