Meet Dixie, the pocket-sized Great Pyrenees mix you didn’t know you needed! She’s two years old, stunningly smart, and on the smaller side for her breed mix, which means you get all the Pyrenees charm without the backbreaking weight class. Her DNA was somewhat of a shocker as she is half Pyrenees and half shepherd breeds, which explains a lot! Dixie is a genius who knows more commands than most people’s kids. She’s polite, attentive, and loves her people, especially those in the teen-and-up crowd. She’s good with dogs in general, but the vet is a hard no as she is convinced that’s where bad things happen, and she has no plans to change her mind. What we have here is a dog genius who is a shepherd in a deceptive, fluffy white smaller package. It's kind of diabolical, but you're getting a scheming shepherd genius with a sweet, docile looking fluff ball package. She’s active and playful but not a chaos machine. Dixie is loyal, bright, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a smart, steady companion who’s as loving as she is clever, Dixie is waiting to meet you.

Ideal Home

A fenced yard and a calm home with minimal foot traffic will make her happiest. She is not a fan of vet visits.
