While we can't say for sure what breeds make up this adorable girl, we'd guess there's a little Papillon, maybe some Chihuahua, and a sprinkle of magic mixed in there somewhere. With her soft tan-and-white coat, warm amber eyes, and those absolutely stunning fluffy ears that seem to have a personality all their own, Freckles is impossible to overlook. And if you look closely, you'll see the adorable little freckles scattered across her legs that gave her the perfect name. Every inch of her is cute, from her wispy tail to her expressive face that always seems to be asking, "Can we cuddle now?" Freckles is a gentle soul who appreciates the quieter things in life. She's not looking for nonstop adventures or chaos; she'd much rather spend her day curled up beside her favorite person, lounging on the couch, or enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a calm, loving nature that makes her incredibly easy to be around. In her foster home, Freckles lives successfully with both dogs and cats and enjoys their company. She has a sweet, respectful demeanor and tends to approach life with kindness and patience. Ongoing Health

All necessary vetting is included in the adoption fee, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a heartworm preventative. A health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel is also provided.

Training & Support

Freckles is described as having a calm and loving nature, making her easy to be around. She has been assessed by trainers on staff, and any necessary behavior modification has been done. Her foster is able to attend group training and socialization playgroups to help her stay confident, well-rounded, and adoption-ready.

Transportation

Freckles is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
