Meet Folklaur, Reg.. Laura Dedering is a dedicated Conservation/Preservation AKC Breeder of Merit and Exhibitor of Tibetan Spaniels since 2014. Labrador Retrievers were her previous breed from 1978 to 2022. She has shown and bred Purebred dogs under the name Folklaur, an AKC Registered Prefix, for over 47 years. All of her dogs are house dogs. Puppies are born in her bedroom and raised in her home. Laura values excellent temperament, structure, OFA health testing and mental enrichment for all of her dogs. Laura has been active in Purebred Dogs since 1978, achieving numerous Championships in Conformation shows, and titles in Obedience, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Work. She has been the President and an officer in multiple dog clubs and a former President of the New Jersey Federation of Dog Clubs. Since 2000, Laura has judged dog shows in the USA, Canada and Overseas. Laura and Tom live on 14 park-like acres by the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area on the border of PA and NJ. They are easily reached by car from Interstates Rt. 80 and Rt. 78. Both Lehigh Valley (ABE) and Newark Liberty (EWR) International Airports are easily accessible. Tibbie puppies can only fly accompanied with a passenger. They cannot be shipped by cargo in the hold of a plane. They do fit easily in a soft dog carrier under the seat in front of you.
