Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn, a charming 40lb Cattle Dog mix with an estimated birthday of May 6, 2022. Delta Dawn's journey has been one of resilience and survival. Found pregnant and facing a difficult situation at the county shelter, she was brought into our care and went to a loving foster home where she safely welcomed her puppies. Tragically, her eleven puppies succumbed to fading puppy syndrome, a heartbreaking loss that deeply affected everyone.

Delta Dawn is a truly sweet soul with incredibly soft fur that invites endless petting. She adores cuddles and is always game for an outing, even a trip to Tractor Supply, where she enjoys exploring the aisles of toys and treats. She doesn't mind baths and approaches life with a cheerful spirit.

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will shower her with affection, belly rubs, and show her the loving and cherished life she deserves. She's ready to be your best friend and adventure partner!

Ongoing Health

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Delta Dawn is currently working on leash training, as her enthusiasm for exploration sometimes outpaces her foster mom's walking speed. She's a quick learner and eager to please. She has discovered a love for playing fetch and is working on bringing the ball back. She is also kennel and potty trained.
