Po Boy - Zoey's Litter

Po Boy, affectionately called "Po Boy, The Doughboy" due to his round and plump stature, is a sweet and roly-poly guy! He is the biggest pup in his litter, double the size of his smallest sibling. Despite his size, Po Boy is extremely shy and fearful. He trembles when he meets new people but warms up for snuggles once he knows he is safe. Of course, like other pups, he loves to play and tumble with his littermates, but he also loves to be picked up for tummy rubs and snuggles. Po Boy is a true foodie, and he will come running when called by name. Po Boy is ready to meet his new forever family. Could that be you?

Ideal Home

A home that can provide Po Boy with patience and understanding as he warms up would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. The adoption fee of $400 covers vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.

Training & Support

Po Boy is shy and fearful with new people, so continued positive reinforcement and gentle socialization will be key to helping him build confidence. His love for food can be a great motivator for training!
