Waylon is a 65 lb, neutered male Staffie mix who is a little over a year old. He is truly one of the biggest, goofiest, most lovable derps you'll ever meet. He's the kind of dog who doesn't quite realize he's a large dog and carries himself with the carefree enthusiasm of a much smaller pup. His personality is a fun mix of playful, curious, silly, and affectionate in his own quirky way. While he's not overly clingy, he enjoys being around his people and happily bounces through life with a joyful, slightly goofy energy that makes him incredibly endearing. One of Waylon's greatest loves in life is tennis balls. He absolutely worships them and could happily spend hours chasing, carrying, or showing off his prized ball. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys playtime and activity. Once he's had the chance to get some energy out, he settles nicely and becomes a much calmer companion.
Ideal Home
Waylon would thrive in a home that appreciates his goofy personality, enjoys playtime and activity, and is ready for a big-hearted, slightly derpy companion. A home that understands big, goofy dogs will likely be the best fit.
Ongoing Health
Like many dogs, storms and thunder can make him a little nervous, but CBD chews help him relax during those moments.
Training & Support
Waylon is house-trained and does beautifully in his crate, typically sleeping through the night. He walks well on leash once he's burned off a little energy, though he can zig-zag a bit when he's feeling extra curious about the world around him. He has no issues with food, toys, or resource guarding. When he spots other dogs on leash, he may give a curious stare or a little boof, but he is generally friendly and interested in meeting them. He may greet new people with a curious little boof before warming up.
