Malone

Mister Malone, a 2.5-year-old Boston Terrier mix, is a true charmer who loves his people. He came to us from a partner shelter after his previous owners requested euthanasia due to epilepsy. Thankfully, we were able to step in and provide him with the care he deserves. Malone's epilepsy is well-managed with medication (Pheno & Keppra), and he's had minimal seizure activity in the last month. He was also successfully neutered and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and microchipped. Malone is obsessed with stuffie toys and would be a great companion for someone looking for a devoted friend.

Ideal Home

Malone would be happy as an only dog or with another easy-going canine companion, as he doesn't seem bothered by other dogs. However, due to his tendency to get over-excited and a little mouthy when anxious, he would do best in a home without young children.

Ongoing Health

Malone has epilepsy that is managed with daily medication. He experienced a seizure at the end of his neuter procedure, but seizure activity has been minimal since then with continued medical management.

Training & Support

Malone can get a bit mouthy when he's feeling anxious, so gentle guidance and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him manage these moments. His love for stuffie toys can be a great tool for redirection and positive engagement.
