Meet Max! This handsome 1.5-year-old American Bulldog mix is a true gem. He came to us from a local vet clinic after being abandoned, and we can't imagine why anyone would leave such a wonderful boy behind. Max is an athletic, energetic goofball who is full of life and always sporting a smile. He's a pro with grooming and is learning to perfect his leash skills, especially when there are yummy snacks involved! Max can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, so he'll need a patient and guiding forever home. He's a dog-friendly fellow and is ready to bring his joy and playfulness to a loving family.

Ideal Home

Max would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise and guidance. He is dog-friendly and would likely do well with other dogs.

Max is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Max is still working on his leash skills and house training. He is described as a "bull in a china shop" and will benefit from direction and training in his new home. He is a sucker for a yummy snack, which can be a great motivator for training!

Transporation

Max is located in South Carolina, and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
