Granite

Granite is a super sweet and cuddly boy who loves nothing more than to follow his foster family and get all the pets. He came all the way from New Mexico to find his forever home. His mom is a Pitbull mix and his dad is a Boxer. He is doing very well with potty training, though he still has the occasional accident. He does well going potty right away when he's outside. Granite is working on enjoying his kennel, as he'd rather be with his foster siblings. He sleeps in his kennel at night, just outside his foster dad's bedroom. He has mastered 'sit' and is working on 'stay,' 'place,' 'come,' and 'down.' His favorite rewards are treats and praise for being a good boy! He sees squirrels and bunnies but doesn't bother them, and he doesn't like to bark. He lives with two dogs, a grumpy male Pitbull/Bulldog mix who he respects, and a female Pitbull/Rottweiler mix who he plays well with and learns from. He also shares a yard with a Husky and a Weimaraner, showering them with kisses. He met the downstairs cat and didn't mind him. Granite loves meeting new people and snuggling on the couch.

Ideal Home

Granite would love a home where he can get plenty of love and attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown he can respect their space and learn from them. He also seems to do well with cats.

Training & Support
