Meet Reese — A Young Soul Ready to Belong
Reese was once just another number in a busy Texas shelter after being found on the harsh streets of Harris County, TX. At only 1 year old, this sweet boy was left behind to fend for himself, a fate no dog deserves. You can easily tell Reese once had a home—he knows love, he trusts people, and despite everything he’s been through, his heart remains wide open.
Reese is a 59‑pound Alaskan Husky with a joyful spirit and a gentle, affectionate nature. He is excellent with people and other dogs, always eager to connect and be close. Reese walks beautifully on leash without pulling, is treat‑motivated, and already knows how to sit, showing just how smart and willing he is to learn. He does have one adorable habit—he’ll happily jump up to ask for more pets, soaking up every bit of affection he can get.
This boy is truly something special. Reese loves being touched from head to toe, enjoys hugs, and thrives on human connection. He is incredibly loving and would do well in just about any home setting, though an active home is preferred to help meet the exercise needs typical of his breed. With the right outlet for energy, Reese will shine as a loyal, devoted companion.
