Meet Kaycee 💛 Kaycee is a handsome, energetic young lad looking for a partner in crime to help guide him through life. He’s a true velcro dog with a massive heart and a deep desire to be part of everything his people do. Whether you’re working in the yard or relaxing on the couch, Kaycee will be right there by your side. Because he missed out on structure early in life, Kaycee is searching for an active, patient family committed to showing him the ropes. He is incredibly eager to please and learns quickly—especially with snacks involved! Kaycee is a wonderful young dog who is still learning his manners. As a big, enthusiastic boy, he would do best in an adult-only home that can support him in continuing to build those skills. He has previously shown some resource guarding, jumping, and counter-surfing tendencies, which are improving with consistency and simple management. He’s currently doing great waiting his turn for treats while his foster sibling goes first—go Kaycee! He loves other dogs and would do well with a confident canine companion who can help show him the way. He is fully house trained and has lived with cats successfully. Kaycee has so much potential—he just hasn’t had the guidance he deserved until now. With patience, structure, and plenty of exercise and enrichment, he is going to make an incredible companion. He’s more than ready to start his next chapter with a family who will give him the love, consistency, and leadership he deserves. ✨

- Kaycee is part of our “SPECIAL EDITION FOSTER TO ADOPT” program. Approved applicants will begin with a 3-week foster-to-adopt trial period to help ensure the transition is a great fit for both Kaycee and his new family. If things are going well after the trial period, the adoption can then be finalized.
Transportation
Kaycee is currently in foster care and can be transported within a 2-hour radius of our facility.
