Dottie

Dottie is a sweet and loyal 4-year-old, 62-pound girl who is ready to bring joy and cuddles to her forever home! She's a playful pup who loves rope toys and stuffies, but she's also a big-time cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side. Dottie is incredibly intelligent and food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner when it comes to training. Her goofy personality and zest for life are sure to make you laugh every day!

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home that can provide at least one good walk or play session a day. She does best with one or two other dogs in a calm environment and can sometimes get overstimulated in larger groups. She would also be happy as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. Dottie would do best in a home without young males or boys, as she has a history of discomfort around them. She is wonderful when meeting women and adult men.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, and she does well when allowed to free roam. While she may whine a bit initially when left alone, she settles down without causing any damage. She walks calmly on a leash but can pull and bark if she sees another dog. She is eager to please and learns new commands quickly, especially with tasty treats!

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up.
