Troy

Meet Troy! This handsome 4.5-year-old shepherd mix is a total sweetheart who's been waiting for his forever home. Troy came to us after being passed around, and though he was briefly with another rescue, he was returned due to anxiety in a kennel environment. Like many shepherds, Troy thrives with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He's an intelligent, energetic, and loving boy who walks well on a leash and is diligently working on his household manners. Troy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and hasn't met a stranger he doesn't like! He's a big fan of the hose and absolutely loves playing in the water. Troy just needs a loving adopter to show him the wonderful life he truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Troy needs an adopter who can provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he needs to thrive. He does not do well in a kennel environment.

Ongoing Health

Troy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Troy walks well on a leash and is learning his household manners. He may benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build his confidence.
