Patch

Patch is a wonderful Shepherd/Husky mix who is about 6-7 years old. He arrived at our rescue from Pasadena Animal Control, found as a stray with an electrical cord around his neck. Despite his tough start, Patch is incredibly friendly and has a fantastic smile. He's looking for an active home where he can get the exercise and structure he needs to truly thrive. An hour-long walk or some energetic playtime in the yard will have him happily settled and ready to hang out.

Ideal Home

Patch would do best in an active, structured home. He can be friends with some dogs, particularly females, but he's selective and prefers those with good manners. He doesn't tolerate dominant or bullying dogs. Because he benefits from guidance, a home with experienced older children might be a good fit, but he is not recommended for homes with young children.

Patch has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Patch needs a human to help direct him. Consistent exercise, rules, and structure will set him up for success.
