Daisy Sue, a 2-year-old spayed female, is a delightful 35-pound mix of Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog, currently residing in Houston, Texas. She was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter and is now eagerly awaiting her second chance at a happy life. Affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," she's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness. Her adorable zoomies and affectionate cuddles are sure to brighten your days.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog, which is strongly preferred. A securely fenced yard for her to explore and burn off energy would be wonderful. She would also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to be gentle with a shy dog. While she enjoys being a work-from-home companion, she does find shoes fascinating, so keeping them out of reach would be appreciated. She prefers a calm home with a predictable routine over a busy household with many visitors.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered pup! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash without reacting to passersby, and is crate-trained. She also has no issues with resource guarding and shares toys and treats politely. She is very food-motivated, making training a breeze. While she can be a little shy and may bark when first meeting new people, especially men, she warms up with patience, gentle voices, and a little space.
