Meet Loki – a sweet 5-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of hope. Loki's past has been marked by abandonment, though never through any fault of his own. He may be a bit shy at first, but behind those soulful eyes is a dog who truly longs for affection. With patience, consistency, and gentle love, Loki slowly begins to blossom. It may take a few days or even a week for him to feel safe, but once he does, you'll discover the depth of his devotion. He's curious about the world but often lacks the confidence to explore it on his own, preferring instead to lean on someone calm, steady, and kind. Loki is searching for that special person who will show him he'll never be left behind again, someone who can give him the gift of security and love. In return, he'll offer a bond as soulful and lasting as they come.

Loki would thrive in a calm and patient home where he can slowly build his confidence. He needs a steady and kind adopter who understands he may need time to warm up.

Ongoing Health

Loki's adoption fee covers all vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.

Training & Support

Loki is still building his confidence, so continued positive reinforcement and patience will be key to his success. He is learning to explore the world with a little encouragement.

Loki is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He can be transported to these locations via comfortable, air-conditioned transport buses with dedicated care. Our adoption coordinator will help you find the closest pick-up location. For local adoptions, pick-up is available at our Angleton, TX location.
