Candy

Candy is a sweet, ~2-year-old girl who has blossomed from a fearful stray into a loving companion. She came to us as a stray with seven puppies and was initially very wary of people. With patience and a dedicated foster, Candy has learned to trust and even seek out affection. She is crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of cats. She has even started to bond with her foster's 9-year-old son. Candy is a sensitive soul, and every bit of love she gives is a testament to her journey of learning to trust. She has a moderate energy level that would fit well into a peaceful home.

Candy is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow kill treatment.
