Hi there! My name is Junior VII, and I'm a handsome 8-year-old fawn boy with a heart full of love to give. My previous owner passed away, and while I'm friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient, I'm having some trouble adjusting to a new home environment. I'm not getting along with the dogs in my current foster home, as I tend to resource guard my food. However, I absolutely adore cats and have lived happily with three of them! I also have a big soft spot for children, and I get along wonderfully with the five kids (ages 2-13) in my foster home. I love playing with them, and I'm very gentle and know not to be too rough. I'm a bit shy around new male humans, but with a proper introduction, I warm up! I'm house-trained, crate-trained, know basic commands, and I'm a bit of a picky eater (Purina is my preference!). I'm happy to sleep in a crate or, if you have one, maybe even a comfy recliner! I don't mind being left alone if you need to go out. I'm well-behaved in the yard, and I don't dig or try to escape. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms can be a bit scary, but I love car rides, playing in the water, and getting attention around the clock! My current family says I seem "broken-hearted" since my person is gone, and I'd love for you to help mend my heart.
