Meet Mila!
Mila is a spayed 3-year-old female Pitbull/Staffie mix, weighing around 40lbs. She's a smart, young, and very curious girl who loves to explore and is eager to learn. Mila is a people-oriented dog who thrives on affection and will happily follow you around for pets and kisses. She seems to have never met a stranger and gets super excited to greet new friends!
Ideal Home
Mila would thrive with a moderately to very active family who desires an outdoor companion or running partner. She would do best in a home where someone is present more often than not. She enjoys playtime with other dogs and gets along well with all sizes, especially larger pups who can keep up with her energy. Homes with older, dog-savvy children are recommended, and she has done well with kids aged 1-10 years.

Mila is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Mila is still young and teachable, quickly picking up new lessons. She has not been crate trained as she has always had access to a doggy door and supervision. While trustworthy when left alone if food is put away and trash cans are empty, she may benefit from more formal training to build confidence. She tends to jump on other dogs during play, so continued socialization and guidance will help her learn appropriate play manners. She loves food and treats, so separate feeding is recommended to ensure household harmony.

Transportation
Mila is currently in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and dogs will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are unable to accept a dog until a specific time, please apply at that time.
