Meet Nina, also known as Miss Buttered Roll! This delightful girl is estimated to be around 2 years old and is as charming as can be. With her squishy body, floppy ears, and soulful eyes, Nina is a true showstopper who captures the hearts of everyone she meets. We suspect she's a mix of hound, boxer, and perhaps a touch of Beagle, but whatever her lineage, she's absolutely perfect. Nina's foster family adores her, and it's easy to see why – her greatest desire is to love and be loved in return. She's a "respectful Velcro dog" who enjoys staying close to her humans, following them around and settling nearby. Her caramel-colored coat with adorable white markings and her delightfully squishy rolls make her irresistible. When she gets excited, her whole body wiggles in a way that's pure happiness!
Ideal Home
Nina currently lives harmoniously with other dogs and enjoys their company, though she can sometimes act as a playful supervisor. She would do well with a calmer canine companion or as the sole furry resident, receiving all the attention. Nina can become excited and pull on leash when she sees other dogs, and we believe a home environment would be better suited for her than an apartment where she might encounter unfamiliar dogs frequently. While her cat test was inconclusive, she showed polite curiosity, and we're happy to conduct further testing for families with feline friends. Nina's gentle and affectionate nature suggests she has the potential to be a wonderful family dog, and we can arrange kid testing for interested adopters.
Ongoing Health
Nina is a healthy and happy dog. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and heartworm preventative, has been completed.
Training & Support
Nina can get excited and pull on leash when she sees other dogs, but she relaxes once proper introductions are made. We recommend thoughtful introductions with other dogs to ensure the best fit.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
