Smokey

Smokey is a 2-year-old, 53-pound male Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find his forever family! Smokey is a super sweet boy that just wants love and attention! He is very smart and a quick learner. He's very submissive and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's described as "kind-hearted" and "affectionate" and is more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day! Smokey is a total couch potato who's more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day! He’s a loyal, sweet companion who just wants to be part of a family. Smokey is the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back, easygoing dog.

Ideal Home

Smokey would prefer a home without cats. He would thrive in a low traffic home due to his shyness with new people. Smokey would be best suited for someone with a house and not an apartment. Smokey would LOVE a home with someone who works from home or is only away from the home for a few hours a day.

Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained. He walks great on a leash and is easily redirected if he gets a little nervous or pulls slightly when excited. Smokey does have some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when you leave, but he does stop crying and doesn't tear anything up. He is not a huge fan of the crate and prefers not to be shut inside.
