Famish

Famish is an approximately 8-month-old Pointer mix who is the perfect blend of adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and cheerful little shadow. This sweet gal brings energy and joy into a home, but also knows when it's time to relax. She's already mastered housetraining, sleeps through the night in her crate, and quickly learned the house routine and the command "sit." Famish is incredibly eager to learn and loves to watch her people, trying her best to understand what is being asked of her. She enjoys playing with other dogs, is good with children, and politely ignores the chickens in her yard. While she loves playtime with canine friends, she's also happy to entertain herself. When the excitement winds down, Famish is all about affection and loves to snuggle up for TV time.

Ideal Home

An active home that includes playtime, adventure, and opportunities to be part of everyday life. Bonus points for a kiddie pool, rainy weather, or a place where she can safely enjoy water.

Ongoing Health

All OTAT-WTX rescues are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines.

Training & Support

Famish is still working on leash walking and learning that younger children may not appreciate enthusiastic puppy jumps and playful nibbles. She is smart, engaged, and eager to continue learning.
