Zeus McGoose is a handsome boy with ears that deserve their own fan club! Between those long, floppy ears, his beautiful golden-red coat, adorable freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles, Zeus looks like he's straight out of a storybook. He's approximately 2 years old, weighs around 28 lbs, and is likely a Cocker Spaniel mix. Zeus is sweet, fun, and easygoing, striking a perfect balance of playful and affectionate without being overly demanding. He loves his squeaky toys and tennis balls, and watching him play in the yard is sure to bring a smile to your face. He's a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, enjoys treats, and is eager to please.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys and enjoy a good sunbath. While he's done wonderfully with small dogs in his foster home, his compatibility with larger dogs is still to be determined, and we're happy to arrange introductions. We haven't seen him with children yet, but he has great potential to be a wonderful family dog for a family with older kids.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Zeus is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare. He is described as eager to please, which makes training a rewarding experience.

Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. We offer nationwide transport via our USDA-certified rescue transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada.
