Sterling Bear is a handsome, 2-year-old Lab mix, weighing around 72 lbs, who embodies the ideal companion for any Lab lover. He's an easygoing gentleman with a calm, steady temperament, making everyday life feel a little bit easier. Sterling isn't about chaotic puppy energy; he's perfectly balanced, knowing when to go for a stroll, play with a toy, or snuggle up on the couch. He possesses wonderful house manners and carries himself with the politeness of a true gentleman. He's a smart boy who already knows basic commands like "sit," is crate-trained, and potty-trained. Sterling loves treats and would be a great companion for both adventures and cozy evenings. He thoroughly enjoys being outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a spacious backyard for him to roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun.

Ideal Home

Sterling would thrive in a home with a nice big backyard. While we haven't seen him with children yet, based on his known personality, we believe he would make a wonderful family dog.

Ongoing Health

As with any rescue, breed and age are approximate. Sterling has no known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Sterling is already crate and potty trained and knows basic commands like "sit." He enjoys gentle play and would do well with dogs who have a happy-go-lucky personality, enjoy play but also know when to take a break, and aren't overly pushy during play. If you don't have other dogs, Sterling is perfectly content being the center of your attention.
