Morty Mello the Marshmallow Sweetheart

Morty Mello is a wonderfully mellow dude with a giant head and a heart of gold. He's a 6-year-old (estimated) pittie mix weighing around 75 lbs, and his favorite activity is snuggling. Morty is as gentle as they come, with a face like a teddy bear and the soul of a cozy throw pillow. He's the friend who always says, "No rush, we'll get there when we get there." Being around him is easy, and loving him is even easier. He's the perfect companion for movie marathons and lazy afternoons.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best in a home with another dog of similar size and temperament – a calm canine companion who enjoys relaxing alongside him. If another dog isn't an option, Morty is perfectly content being the sole furry friend. He also needs a kitty-free home. A backyard for sunbathing and exploring would be wonderful, but he'd also adapt well to apartment living.

Morty is a healthy boy. All vetting is up-to-date, and he's ready to go!

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on a leash and is quiet in his crate. He's a low-maintenance companion who just needs love and a comfy place to nap.

Transporation

We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transport.
