King

King is a one-year-old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid-back nature. He's still building his confidence and can be a bit wary of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels secure, he truly blossoms. While he can get a little jumpy when excited, he's generally calm and easygoing. King absolutely loves to romp in the yard, go for walks, and spend quality time outdoors. He has a playful spirit and enjoys a good game of fetch with frisbees and balls, tug-of-war, and has a particular fondness for chew time with durable toys and knuckle bones. He is already crate trained and house trained, making him a breeze to integrate into your home.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in a patient and understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to build his confidence and discover that the world is a safe and wonderful place. A home without cats is recommended due to his prey drive.

Ongoing Health

King has a sensitive stomach and does best on a sensitive stomach dog food. Treats like milk bones do not agree with him.

Training & Support

King is house trained and crate trained. He enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, and chewing on appropriate toys.
