About Charlie

Charlie is the bestest boy, and someone is going to be darn lucky when they scoop him up! If you’re looking for a dog that is up for adventure, be that exploring the outdoors together or napping on the couch, he’s your man. If you’re looking for a dog that’s good with every person they meet, including kids, Charlie’s your man. If you’re looking for a dog that will bond quickly and that’s a smart pup who will pick up additional cues/commands with ease, well look no further! This dog is a total package! Charlie joined us in rescue and was in need of some TLC. He’d spent some time living in an outdoor kennel, and had a torn ACL in addition to Lyme disease. Charlie has gone through treatment, including surgery on his injured leg, and has come through with flying colors! He took surgery, cage rest and physical therapy like a champ and is now feeling better than ever and ready to get out and explore. Charlie is not a fan of being kenneled or left alone for long stretches, he had enough of that to last a lifetime so for this next chapter he’s looking to be someone’s full-time sidekick.

Ideal Home

Charlie is not a great match with other dogs or cats. He is seeking an indoor home only and is not a fan of being kenneled or left alone for long stretches.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has had a torn ACL, which required surgery, and has also been treated for Lyme disease. He has recovered well and is feeling better than ever!
