Diggie Doodlebug Hoverfluff

Diggie Doodlebug Hoverfluff is an 11 lb Shih Tzu mix who looks like a tiny, scruffy muppet! He's estimated to be around 4 years old and is a playful, sensitive soul who forms deep attachments to his people. Diggie loves toys, enjoys dramatically digging through dog beds, and blossoms into a bouncy, playful boy once he's comfortable. He has a sensitive nature and can be a bit reserved in new situations, but with gentle patience, his loving and funny personality shines through.

Ideal Home

Diggie would truly thrive in a home with children, as he adores them. He has also successfully lived with cats and can do well with calm, easygoing dogs after slow introductions. A home with a secure yard would be ideal as he is still building confidence with leash walking.

Ongoing Health

Diggie's vetting is up-to-date and he has received all necessary vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Training & Support

Diggie is not currently leash trained, but is practicing with his foster. Crates are also stressful for him, and he has proven to be trustworthy in the home without one. He is a relationship-first dog, so patience and understanding as he settles in will be key to his success.

Diggie is currently located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
