Toba

Meet Toba!

Toba is a charming little pup with a big personality, all wrapped up in a small, scruffy, long-bodied package. She's believed to be a Chihuahua and possibly Dachshund mix, and she's already stealing hearts with her adorable face and short legs. Toba is one of nine pups who recently arrived in Bend, Oregon, from Tijuana, Mexico. Their former owner sadly passed away, and thankfully, compassionate rescuers stepped in to bring them to safety and give them a second chance at life. Now in the Pacific Northwest, Toba and her siblings are settling in and beginning their journey to find loving forever homes. We're still learning about their individual personalities and needs as they decompress and prepare for adoption.

Ideal Home

Toba would do well in a home with people and would prefer a canine companion to share her life with. Her activity level is medium to high.

Ongoing Health

Toba has received a wellness check, vaccinations, and is microchipped. She has also been spayed/neutered. All known medical information is disclosed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Toba is mostly house-trained, but her signals to go outside are subtle. She needs to be taken out approximately every 4-5 hours. While she's not a huge fan of her crate, she will go in and sometimes naps in it. She's getting better with leash walking, especially with a harness, and enjoys treats and lots of physical affection. Her love language is definitely physical touch!
