Buddy is a delightful, approximately one-year-old, 87-pound mixed-breed dog with a heart as big as his smoosh-face. He's a perfect blend of an enthusiastic adventurer and a devoted couch companion. Buddy loves to play, collect toys, and socialize with other dogs, but he's also content to snuggle up beside you. He's smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, already mastering commands like 'kennel' and riding calmly in the car.
Ideal Home
Buddy would thrive in a home with adopters who understand large breeds and can provide continued guidance and structure. He'd be happiest with space to roam and people who enjoy including him in everyday activities. He has done well with cats in controlled settings, so dog-savvy cats and careful introductions would be recommended. Older children or teens would likely be a good fit given his size and youthful energy.
Ongoing Health
Buddy is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Buddy is a young, large dog, and his youthful enthusiasm sometimes leads to overly eager play invitations. He can occasionally be a little slow to understand when older dogs want their space, but this is not a cause for concern and is typical of a young dog. Continued positive exposure, leadership, and appropriate boundaries will help him grow into the best version of himself.
