Romeo is a handsome 1-year-old Moyen Poodle (DOB: 2/2/2025) who is ready to find his forever home! With his affectionate personality, playful spirit, and love for people, Romeo is the total package for a family looking for an active and loving companion. This sweet boy is friendly with men, women, and kids, making him an easy dog to fall in love with. Romeo loves being around his people and enjoys both playtime and downtime. Whether it’s a long walk, a run, or a game of fetch with his favorite ball or chew toy, Romeo is always up for fun. Once inside, he settles nicely and enjoys relaxing close to his humans. Romeo is still a young pup with a moderate energy level, so he’ll thrive in a home that can keep him mentally and physically engaged while continuing his training and routine.

Ideal Home

Romeo would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. A yard or safe outdoor space would be a bonus, but daily walks and exercise are a must for this young, energetic boy. Because Romeo is a Poodle, his adopter should understand the breed’s grooming needs. Poodles require regular professional grooming (typically monthly), so his future family must be willing and able to provide consistent grooming care as part of his routine.

Training & Support

Romeo is a smart boy with a great foundation and is eager to keep learning. He is crate trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and settles nicely in the home. He can do well with other dogs with proper introductions; however, he may do best as the only male dog in the household.

Transporation

Romeo is currently fostered in Houston, Texas. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome, with transport available for approved adopters through USDA-certified transport teams ($250 transport fee).
