Autumn the Tripod

Meet Autumn, a spirited young female Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love to give, even though she's navigating life on three legs! She lost a leg due to an injury, but it certainly doesn't hold her back. Autumn's enthusiasm for life shines when she's on long walks or joyfully chasing toys in the yard. You'd be amazed by how she leaps and bounds after tennis balls – it's a testament to her resilience and zest for fun! Autumn is also participating in our Shelter Dog Enrichment Specialist program, where she's made a special connection with Sammi.

Ideal Home

Autumn needs a patient and understanding owner who can help her adjust to home life. She thrives with someone who is dog-savvy and can provide her with the reassurance she needs. Due to past unfortunate circumstances, she takes time to trust new people and would likely benefit from several meet-and-greets before being ready for her forever home. Autumn must be the only animal in the household, as she is not friendly with cats or other dogs.

Autumn is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Autumn requires a dog-savvy owner to help her adjust to home life and build trust. Patience and multiple meet-and-greets are recommended for her to feel comfortable.
