Linden

Linden is a handsome 4-year-old Poodle mix who weighs about 10 lbs. He's a survivor of a puppy mill and came to us very scared, but he's bravely starting to open up and discover what it's like to be a dog! He's learning to trust humans and even starting to learn how to play. While he's still getting comfortable with leash walking, we're celebrating every little step forward he takes. Linden has a sweet spirit and with a patient family, he can blossom into a loving companion. He currently wears cute little boots to protect his paws as he paces in his kennel, and we're working on getting them healed and toughened up.

Ideal Home

Linden would thrive in a home with a patient family who understands that he needs time to adjust and build trust. He would benefit greatly from having another small dog to help him learn the ropes of home life, and a securely fenced potty area is a must for his safety.

Ongoing Health

Linden is currently being treated for sore paw pads, which is why he wears protective boots. We are working on healing and toughening them up.

Training & Support

As a puppy mill survivor, Linden is learning many new things, including how to trust people and potentially walk on a leash. He will need ongoing patience and positive reinforcement to help him learn and grow. Every small success should be celebrated, and he needs to be accepted for who he is as he progresses.

Transportation

Linden is located in Mukwonago, WI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet and adopt him. We primarily adopt to homes in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.
