Gabby

Gabby is a beautiful 13-year-old, 40-pound Schnauzer/Poodle mix with a heart full of love to give! Despite her age, she's got a spring in her step and enjoys daily walks, sunbathing, and receiving gentle pets. Gabby is the perfect companion for those who appreciate a relaxed pace of life, enjoying both leisurely strolls and cozy couch cuddles. She's a quiet girl, only barking occasionally when she seeks attention, and she's already proven herself to be fully housetrained. Gabby came to us because her previous guardian could no longer care for her, and she's now ready for a forever home where she can be cherished.

Gabby would thrive in a home that understands her senior needs and provides a safe environment, free from harmful items like snail or rat bait.

Ongoing Health

Gabby is currently being treated for Cushing's disease and is working on losing about 9 pounds. This weight loss is a gradual process that may take several months. Once she reaches a healthier weight, she will be able to safely undergo a dental cleaning and have a couple of lipomas removed.

Training & Support

Gabby is an enthusiastic eater and has a tendency to eat things she shouldn't. Her new family will need to be diligent about keeping potentially harmful items out of her reach.
