Cody

Cody is a handsome Golden Retriever with so much potential! After being returned to Tattered Paws for a fresh start, Cody is now looking for a very special, dedicated forever home. He previously didn't receive the structure he needed, which sadly resulted in a bite history. But the good news is, Cody has made amazing progress! He's completed a board-and-train program and is currently thriving with a wonderful foster who is working with a professional trainer. Cody is smart, eager to learn, and loves to stay active. With the right guidance and a commitment to continued training, he's sure to live a happy and balanced life!

Ideal Home

Cody needs an experienced and committed adopter who can provide consistent structure, leadership, and ongoing training. He requires a home with no children and no other dogs unless the adopter has extensive experience with behavioral cases. He also needs an active lifestyle with at least 1.5 hours of daily exercise and enrichment.

Ongoing Health

Cody is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cody has a bite history due to not receiving enough structure in his previous home. He has completed a board-and-train program and is currently working with a professional trainer in his foster home. Adopters must be committed to continuing his training.
