Meet Prince! This sweet, soulful little guy is clearly poodle at heart – smart, sensitive, and deeply affectionate once he feels safe. He's adjusting well in foster care and already has a few favorite things: relaxing on the couch, lounging on the carpet, and enjoying calm walks around the lake. He truly enjoys a peaceful stroll, taking everything in at his own pace. At home, he's all about quiet companionship, curling up near his person and soaking in peaceful moments.

Ideal Home

Prince needs a calm, patient home that understands he may need extra time to trust. His ideal adopter will understand that building trust with him takes time, patience, and consistency, with slow introductions being a must. His future home should also respect his need to settle in at his own pace. He would do best in an adult-only home or one without small children.

Training & Support

Prince needs structure, clear boundaries, and a strong, confident leader to help him continue building confidence and succeed long-term. Training will be required to help set both Prince and his adopter up for success. He is very communicative and will whine when he needs to go outside or sometimes when he simply wants comfort and reassurance from his person. One of the best ways to bond with Prince is by sitting on the floor and allowing him to come to you when he feels comfortable.
